Plans

Every plan includes the full widget — theming, lead capture, transcripts, live takeover and handoff. Tiers differ by volume, not by holding features back.

Current pricing

Paid tier prices are listed on the SiteMesh pricing page rather than here, so you are always looking at the current figure rather than a documentation page that drifted out of date.

Choosing a tier

How many chatbots do you need? One per website or per brand is the usual pattern. One agency managing five clients needs five. This is often the deciding factor on its own.

How big is your site? Check the page count after your first crawl — it tells you exactly where you sit against the page limit.

How much traffic will chat? A rough rule: expect 1–3% of visitors to open the widget, and each conversation to run several messages. Ten thousand monthly visitors might produce a few hundred conversations.

How often does your content change? A shop with rotating stock benefits from daily auto-refresh. A brochure site that changed twice last year does not.

Start on Free

Genuinely — start there. Train a chatbot on your real site, embed it, and watch a few weeks of real conversations in the live inbox.

You will learn more about which tier you need from two weeks of actual usage than from any amount of estimating up front.

Upgrading and downgrading

Change your plan from the dashboard. Your chatbots, indexed content, conversation history and widget keys are unaffected — an upgrade is a limit change, not a migration.

Before downgrading, make sure you are within the lower tier's limits. If you have five chatbots and move to a tier that allows three, decide which two to delete rather than leaving it to chance.

What counts against your limits

Chatbots — each one you have created, whether or not it is embedded anywhere.

Pages indexed — the total across all data sources: crawled web pages plus uploaded documents. Visible on each chatbot's training screen.

Messages — each message sent to a chatbot through the widget.

The message limit is enforced. When your allowance is used up, the widget stops answering and visitors receive an error rather than a reply. This is worth watching if your traffic is seasonal — running out mid-campaign means a silent chatbot on your busiest day.

Rate limits are separate

Independent of your plan, all accounts are subject to per-minute rate limits that protect the service from abuse. Normal use does not come close to them.
